Statistically, men have been less likely than women to seek therapy. But times are changing, and the stigma attached to men as silent sufferers is falling to the wayside, along with outdated stereotypes about masculinity. Sometimes it can be helpful to talk to another man about issues into which we have unique insights and perspectives, in a safe and confidential environment.

Thankfully, more and more men are discovering that seeking help is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of intelligence, and once they overcome this initial hurdle, they experience tremendous personal growth that leads to lasting improvements in their relationships, careers, and family life.

I work with men to help them deal with issues like:

Relationship concerns

Career and family-related stress and anxiety

Sex and intimacy issues

I often incorporate “walk and talk” sessions in my work with men, and find that being out in nature can facilitate the process of real and genuine expression and exploration. Please call me for a free consultation on how we can work together to address your unique needs.
